A Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification is an assembly of a comprehensive set of tools that will give an employee the knowledge and skill needed to not only identify issues and correct them but ability to identify issues before they become a problem. Where a Whitebelt is an introduction to the tools, a Yellow Belt Certification provides a more in depth training into the tools and methods of implementation.

The Yellow Belt Certification is aimed at those new to the world of Lean and Six Sigma. Those who have an interest, or need to develop foundational knowledge of continuous improvement. Yellow Belts can be entry-level employees who seek to improve their immediate areas or executive champions who require an overview of Six Sigma and the DMAIC process. This certification will adopt the approach of advancing the concepts and potential of using Lean and Six Sigma tools and methodologies within an organization.

The DAIMC Process.

DMAIC is an acronym for Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control and refers to the data-driven improvement cycle used for improving, optimizing and stabilizing business processes. The DMAIC cycle is the core tool used to drive Six Sigma projects.

A Yellow Belt Certification gives you the skills to use the DMAIC process as a data-driven quality strategy used to improve processes. It is an integral part of a Six Sigma initiative, but in general can be implemented as a standalone quality improvement process or as part of other process improvement initiatives with Lean.

This Yellow Belt Certification course has not only a heavy focus on Six Sigma and Problem Solving tools but on building Control Measurements. As measurement drives behavior, proper Key Performance Indicators are critical to maintaining the gains earned from our improvement efforts.
