ASPE’s Martin Olson has more than 20 years of experience working in software development and IT, with much of that time spent in team leadership and coaching roles. Martin has a wealth of project experience at notable organizations, including Hallmark, Children International and Walmart, Inc. Working as a software developer for more than 15 years and then transitioning to Agile and Lean coaching and consulting, Martin’s experience has spanned the entire software development life cycle honing his expertise in project management, quality assurance and control, process improvement and Lean leadership.
Having earned his ScrumMaster certification more than 10 years ago, Martin was a relatively early adopter of Agile practices and team leadership principles. Since then, he has earned certifications in Scaled Agile Program Consulting (SPC) and PMI’s Agile Project Management (PMI‐ACP), to name a few. Martin is passionate about Agile and the value it can bring to organizations.
As an Agile trainer, coach and consultant, Martin works with organization of all sizes. He helps them better understand their value streams in order to identify how to improve productivity, customer satisfaction and profitability bringing even more value to their organization.
Martin uses the core values and mechanics of Agile to help organizations and project teams produce tangible results. By helping customers assess their processes and readiness for Agile, Martin is able to provide organizations with real return on the training, coaching and changes they take on.
