This advanced JIRA training course is a hands-on, immersive boot camp that teaches you how to get more out of your Atlassian suite. This course helps you align your program and portfolio level goals within the enterprise and use JIRA as a single source of truth for delivery management. It can be used to manage and track your Agile requirements, defects, issues, products, projects, and reports all within a single tool.

Whether you are a current JIRA user, team lead, ScrumMaster, product owner or hold another role using JIRA to lead deliver projects, this course enhances your fundamental knowledge of JIRA and advances your skills. You will learn to customize the tool to your organization’s software development processes and methodology using a variety of Atlassian tool suite add-ons. While creating custom projects, permission schemes, using screens, field configurations, and issue type screen schemas, this course teaches you to use and customize JIRA based on your delivery projects and tailor it to your organizational needs.

Throughout the course, topics covered include how to create custom issue types, create and track field configurations and screens, manage permission schemes, and customize workflows. We’ll discuss key screens, fields, and tools within Jira and common plugins. Attendees also learn how to use Jira and Confluence together in ways that enable Agile teams to manage projects seamlessly across the two applications.

Most importantly, you will walk away knowing how to customize and maximize the use of JIRA to fit into your Agile program and portfolio environment and integrate it with your software delivery lifecycle. To accomplish this, the sample project during class demonstrates a large enterprise with multiple projects for which we use to customization and deliver large projects within the organization.
