Title: Product Manager

Reports to: Product Director

Meeting frequency: Weekly

Performance review: 90-day review, then annual

Status:  Full time

Travel:  Less than 10%

The product manager develops, maintains, and improves courses and consulting opportunities by working with subject matter experts (SMEs), evaluating customer feedback, and learning what the market demand requires. Day-to-day operational tasks, long-term planning and guidance for product lines, and overall profit and loss are the top priorities for this position. You will work with every department of the company, from introducing products to marketing and sales, to categorizing invoices with accounting. It is a fast-paced position in which you will need to maintain focus while being pulled in multiple directions.

Core responsibilities:

  • Develop pricing models and proposals in support of program and account teams
  • Courseware development, review, updates and quality control
  • SME recruiting, onboarding, management, and communication
  • Provide product marketing for specific curricula as needed
  • Operational and logistic oversight for course delivery
  • Manage certification bodies and partnerships (PMI, IC Agile, IIBA, Microsoft, etc.)
  • Monitor partner-delivered products and decide whether to add to ASPE catalog

Other responsibilities:

  • Identify potential products and rollout strategy as needed
  • Market research and competitive analysis
  • Assist marketing with persona creation and creative guidance
  • Provide sales training as needed
  • Program creation and monitoring
  • Contract negotiation
  • Determine customer needs – directly and indirectly
  • Assist program managers with proposal responses
  • Product launch and management
  • Help develop public course schedule for courses
  • Lab environment troubleshooting
  • Analyze data for trends
  • Serve as customer and SME liaison as needed

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, efficient
  • Writing and editing proficiency
  • Clear communication
  • Content marketing knowledge and management
  • Familiarity with Google Ads, Analytics and SEO
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure and GCP is a plus
  • Project planning and management
  • Four-year degree or relevant work experience
